Roller Skating Rink Operators Association (RSROA) and successors - 1971-72 season and beyond
source: RSA Achievement Program document, revised 9/1/2013, effective 11/1/2013, endorsed by USA Roller Sports
"The RSROA Board of Directors changed the name of the RSROA to RSA (Roller Skating Associations). This change was made to include ALL members of the RSA. Also, in May 1985 the RSROA Board of Directors changed the name of the RSROA Proficiency Test Program to the RSROA Achievement Test Program. This change was made to better reflect the intent of the tests -- a means of developing and measuring a skater's skills in roller skating. "
