Chicago Foxtrot

[Probably done in the Shuffle/Rexxing style.]
For those who are unfamiliar with this local dance, the Chicago Foxtrot was designed for picking up girls. The corner was side H (like the international collegiate), step cross, step, cross, however many times you need. If the girl did not cross, did not matter. As you enter the straight away, the Boy did a Left to right outer Mohawk to close to A position, like the swing dance. The straight away, from the point of view going forward was left, step left, right step right, left step left (glide waltz). Again if the girl did not manage, no big deal. End of the straight away, boy opens back to H position like the swing dance. |
